ADVISA Expands its Leadership Diversity Scholarship Program

Applications now open for upcoming Leadership Fundamentals and Emerging Leader Series learning experiences

ADVISA, a leader and culture effectiveness firm based in the Carmel Arts & Design District, today announced it has expanded its Leadership Diversity Scholarship program to include Leadership Fundamentals, the organization’s learning experience geared towards front-line and mid-level managers, and Emerging Leader Series, a series tailored to the needs of high-performers early in their career journey.

Leadership Fundamentals offers managers of others the opportunity to learn, practice, and get feedback on the skills necessary to make the shift from being an individual contributor to coaching and developing others. It launches in-person at ADVISA’s Leadership Center at 210 N Rangeline Rd. in Carmel on October 11, 2023.

Emerging Leader Series offers young leaders the opportunity to learn more about management as a possible springboard to their first formal leadership role. It launches on October 12, 2023, and is 100% virtual.

“We’re excited to announce the expansion of the Leadership Diversity Scholarship at ADVISA. Our goal is to support diversity in leadership across the board,” said Kate Fagan Shuck, ADVISA’s Vice President of Learning + Development. “When people with diverse backgrounds and identities have access to leadership programs, it creates a positive ripple effect for entire departments, organizations, and communities. Embracing different perspectives and experiences leads to more meaningful discussions and a deeper understanding of complex issues for all involved.”

ADVISA launched the Leadership Diversity Scholarship in 2021, offering up to four, fully funded scholarships annually to its Leadership Academy (a value of $8,800 each) to leaders from under-represented groups who are eager to grow their skills and positively influence their organizations. To date, ADVISA has granted 14 Leadership Diversity Scholarships.
